Eden’s Way Farm Sanctuary Pen Pal Program
Become a Pen Pal to one of our wonderful Animal Residents!
We are thrilled to introduce our Eden’s Way Farm Sanctuary Pen Pal Program, which helps to connect kids with adorable, rescued animals such as Blue the sheep, Daniel the cow, Dublyn the pig, Maxwell the goat, and Finnegan the duck.
The Pen Pal Program is available for individual kids and for classrooms, in which kids write letters to their animal pen pal, and the animals will write back (with a little help from us). Kids of any age can sign up for the program. You can choose whether you want to write or hear back from the animal pen pal weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, and whether you prefer the letters to be sent by email or postal mail.

PEN PAL PROGRAM FOR INDIVIDUALS
How it works? Kids can choose from a list of animal pen pals, then write them a letter. From there, they will be sent an introductory letter back from the animal pen pal of their choice, along with a colouring page and photo of the animal. In the letter, the animals will thank the kids for writing to them and then tell the kids a bit about their background and their lives at the farm. The kids and animals can then send pen pal letters back and forth, for as long as you request. Future letters from the animals will sometimes include surprise colouring pages, word puzzles/games, and educational handouts to learn more about their lives.
If a child would like to register for a personal pen pal, please go to the individual sign-up tab here.

PEN PAL PROGRAM FOR CLASSROOMS
How it works? Teachers can choose one animal pen pal from the list of animals in this program. Every child can write to the animal, or the class can write one collective letter. The animal will respond with an introductory letter, thank every child in the classroom for writing to him/her and write a bit about his/her background and life at the farm. The children (and the classroom as a whole) and the chosen animal can then send pen pal letters back and forth, for as long as you request. We will also send you a colouring page of the animal pen pal that you can photocopy and give out to all the children in your class, as well as a photo that you can post in your classroom. Future letters from the animal pen pal will sometimes include surprise colouring pages, word puzzles/games, and educational handouts to learn more about their lives.
If a teacher would like to register their classroom, please go to the classroom sign-up tab here.

Thank you so much for your interest in Eden’s Way Farm Sanctuary Pen Pal Program! The animals can’t wait to hear from you!
